In an all new Lightsaber Academy. We'll learn to wield Lightsabers like Ahsoka Tano. To wield the weapon of a Jedi, you must decide to follow the path toward the light. Or be tempted by the dark side. Here you must take up your lightsaber and train with the Saber Guild on this episode of Lightsaber Academy.

Welcome younglings to a new episode of Lightsaber Academy. I'm Sal Perales. 
 
SARAH NGUYEN 
And I'm Sarah Nguyen. We're members of Saber Guild. A costume performers group where we gather together with other Star Wars fans from all over the world to recreate famous Lightsaber duels. 
 
SAL PERALES 
In these new episodes, we're gonna explore new Saber techniques favored by some of the galaxy's greatest heroes and villains. But first we need a student, come on up. 
 
IRELAND 
Hi.

Welcome Ireland. 
 
SAL PERALES 
The Jedi we're talking about today was a Padawan to one of the greatest Jedi ever known. Fought during the Clone Wars, some called him the Chosen One. Do you know who I'm talking about? 
 
IRELAND 
Anakin Skywalker. 
 
SAL PERALES 
Anakin Skywalker. Anakin had a Padawan during the Clone Wars do you know who that is? 
 
IRELAND 
Ahsoka, or �Snips.�
 
IRELAND 
I get compared to Ahsoka because she is so strong and confident. She kind of breaks the rules but she has a good heart too, just like me. What I like about how Anakin has a team is they are both kind of learning from each other at the same time even though Anakin's teaching Ashoka. I think they're such a powerhouse too. 
 
SAL PERALES 
Ahsoka originally trained with one Lightsaber in a reverse grip. So, all of you at home, can get ready to practice. Grab your Saber. Hold it in reverse. Ignite the blade, and get into a ready stance. Now we're gonna do a horizontal sweep across. I want you to roll the blade over. 
 

SAL PERALES 
And then you're gonna do a big deflect. Well done, well done. Back to basic stance and you go a little faster, are you ready? 
 
IRELAND 
Ready. 
 
SAL PERALES 
One. Roll over. Deflect. Hai! Alright. Ready to go full on? 
 
IRELAND 
Yes. 
 
SAL PERALES 
Do you think we can match? Alright, basic stance. Hup! Hup! Hup! Outstanding. You're ready for the next level. 
 
SARAH NGUYEN 
Towards the end of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka was lured into a trap that Maul had set for master, Anakin on Mandalore. When they face off, Ahsoka�s skills with her twin blades were tested by Maul's acrobatic flurries of rapid Saber strikes. 
 
SAL PERALES 
I'm gonna show you a routine that showcases Ahsoka's upgraded Saber techniques. Pay attention 'cause you'll be wielding Sabers like this very soon. 
 


IRELAND 
I really loved the duel between Maul and Ahsoka. It was really cool to see how Ahsoka leveled up from her single Saber to her double Sabers. And how it changes the way she fights. 
 
SAL PERALES 
Wielding two blades takes patience, practice, and discipline. Equip your Lightsabers and we will begin. 
 
SAL PERALES 
Alright you at home, you can follow along too. So let's ignite our blades. Step one horizontal sweep. Two you want to put the blade up and across. And then three, you want to make the X powerful. Deflect and push out. Signature Ahsoka style. Yeah you make the face too, yeah that's what Ahsoka would do. Back to basic stance. Across, one. Shoo! Up. Shoo!
 
SAL PERALES 
x. Down. Excellent. Here we go again, ready? Up! Whoo! Up! Shoo! Hup! Power stance. That's impressive. Well done. 
 
IRELAND

SAL PERALES 
You are a Padawan worthy of Anakin Skywalker. Just like we see Ahsoka training Sabine in their continuing adventures together. 
 
IRELAND 
It's been really fun to train at Lightsaber Academy. Sal is so much fun and I really learned some good techniques with him. And it was a really good time.
