She’s already acknowledging that there’s family over in Italy at this moment and that she’s watching over the family, and she’s talks about a lot of big celebrations. Your mother was very, was she very excitable all the time? This, this is your mother. “Oh, my God. It’s you. Oh.” So, I don’t know who’s passed like a very long time, is that correct? JOE Well, her mom passed many, many years ago when she was approximately 12 or 13. THERESA CAPUTO Okay, so she’s like. JOE She became the matriarch of the family. THERESA CAPUTO Were just in Mass or did you have a Mass said for her? JOE Yeah, we have Masses said for her actually pretty often, and yesterday, I was in the cemetery. THERESA CAPUTO She attends all the Masses and wants to thank you for what you continue to do in memory of her. JOE Well, thank you. THERESA CAPUTO Do you have like cousins and nephews… MALE STORE OWNER Yeah, there’s cousins. THERESA CAPUTO …that are involved in the family business as well? MALE STORE OWNER Yes. THERESA CAPUTO Because I feel like it started out as like a little deli. MALE STORE OWNER Yes it did. THERESA CAPUTO Did it, did it really? MALE STORE OWNER A small store. THERESA CAPUTO Oh, just like little small, small store. MALE STORE OWNER Yes, one store. THERESA CAPUTO And now it’s like a chain. MALE STORE OWNER Yeah, it was the family business. THERESA CAPUTO I, are you only in New York because they’re showing me possibilities of going out of New York State with this. MALE STORE OWNER Well, we, we are only in New York. THERESA CAPUTO But you’re, oh, so you are only in New York. But is it, you don’t have to, I’m not trying to divulge into your private life, but they’re showing me that there’s a possibility of an expansion, but she says when you open up the other stores, she says get the bigger picture. So, I don’t know if she wants a bigger picture of her, of herself. I don’t know what it is. JOE I don’t know if I can get a bigger one. That’s pretty large.
