Hello, I am a circle Let’s see what else has the shape of a circle Look, it’s a tiny tiny ladybug  But. where are its spots? Here are its spots! A little ladybug’s spots are in the shape of a circle What a teeny tiny ladybug This is a magnifying glass But, wait, where is the lens?  Oh, here is the lens, the lens is in the shape of a circle When we examine things under a magnifying glass they look much larger

What else has the shape of a circle? It’s a special beautiful piece of jewelry That you wear around the wrist It can be made of gold, plastic or beads But it’s always pretty, indeed Can you guess what it is? You’re right, it’s a bracelet!  Wow, what a beautiful bracelet!

Hello, I am a rectangle Let’s see what else has the shape of a rectangle Look, it’s a window shutter,  But some of its slats are missing Oh, here are the missing slats The shutter slats are in the shape of a rectangle The slats are used in order to open and close the shutter Here is a candle flame But, where is the candle? Here is the candle.  The candle is in the shape of a rectangle. On your birthday you can make a wish and blow out the candle. Perhaps your wish will come true, he he he. 

What else has the shape of a rectangle?  It’s a musical instrument Shiny and small And when you blow into it  It lets out a tune You hold it with both hands Then you press it to your lips And when you blow air into its holes It lets out delightful tones What do you think it is? That’s right, a harmonica! A rectangle shaped harmonica. What lovely tunes.
