JANEECE Its been really, really, really difficult. Kim was my anchor. JANEECE Want to try these? JANEECE I remember when she was born. He took a picture of his hand on my chest and I was holding her and he said God gave me my life back. JANEECE I just miss him. I miss him, and Im mad at him. JANEECE And it all happened so fast. JANEECE It pissed me the hell off because I wanted him to come home so bad. OPERATOR This is EMSA. What is your emergency? CALLER My sons been shot. OPERATOR Does he have any serious bleeding? CALLER Yes. OPERATOR We have an ambulance on the way. Stay on the line. CALLER Wheres the ambulance? CALLER Its on the way. OFFICER Hey, its Tulsa Police department. CALLER Ok, Ok. Please come in. OFFICER Lets go this way. JANEECE Baby, youre going to be okay. OFFICER Theyve got to go. WHITE Im heading to an area in the northwest part of the city, Osage County. WHITE The victim apparently was shot out in the driveway, and managed to make it inside of the house. But has unfortunately died of his injuries. WHITE Ive been in the unit for around ten and a half years. And its my eightieth case. WHITE Thats a lot of murders. WHITE What do we know? OFFICER The victims name is Kim Hayes. OFFICER We got a search waiver signed by the mom. LEATHERMAN Mom stays here? OFFICER Its moms house. SCHILLING Mom and girlfriend live here. WHITE Alright. OFFICER We got blood trails everywhere. OFFICER Theres a blood trail on that side of the car. OFFICER And theres a blood trail down here. SCHILLING Where was he found? OFFICER Hes found in the house. WHITE Theres a gun in the garage. WHITE Blood all over that gun. LEATHERMAN So, do we think thats the victims? WHITE Maybe. OFFICER Some cartridge casings. OFFICER Casings down there. ... AND INTO THE STREET. OFFICER All of our cartridge casings are .380s. WHITE Did he have a phone? OFFICER The phones out there in the driveway. OFFICER I got a password for the victims phone. Slime. LEATHERMAN Thats an interesting password. OFFICER Thought so myself. WHITE Weve got a pill bottle. LEATHERMAN The name on this pill bottle is Charles Boaz, and its hydrocodone. OFFICER According to the neighbors OFFICER theres been lots of foot traffic and vehicle traffic from this house recently. OFFICER Probably drug related. WHITE Im gonna holler at this witness thats next door over here. WHITE Hi there. How are you? Jason White. NEIGHBOR Yes, sir. WHITE What did you see? Or hear? NEIGHBOR I was about to go to bed. I heard some arguing outside. NEIGHBOR I looked out my window. NEIGHBOR It was the victim and two other guys, tussling on the driveway right at the end. NEIGHBOR I heard gunshots. NEIGHBOR Takes your heart rate and everything to a different level. NEIGHBOR The guy who was standing over him NEIGHBOR he unloaded like 5 or 6 rounds point blank over the victim. WHITE What does the victim do next? NEIGHBOR My wife thinks she saw him get up. NEIGHBOR And I think he was able to return fire. WHITE What did the guys look like? NEIGHBOR African American, tall. One was probably about 61. NEIGHBOR It wasnt the first time I heard people coming in and out. WHITE Did I understand, is there a lot of traffic over here? Like short term traffic? NEIGHBOR There had been over the last year or so, but I thought NEIGHBOR maybe since he had a baby, I thought he kinda cleaned some things up. WHITE Thanks a million. I really do appreciate your time. WHITE Two guys were fighting with him here. And then the suspect was over the top of him shooting, one of the suspects was shooting into him multiple times. He says I thought after he had that baby, I thought maybe hed calm down or something. LEATHERMAN We got the victims mom and girlfriend being taken downtown. WHITE Im going to go talk to them right now. Id like to get the story as quick as possible. WHITE Im thinking we talk to the girlfriend first. What do you think? LEATHERMAN Yeah. WHITE I dont know that moms going to know the ins and outs of whats going on. WHITE Lets talk to the girlfriend. LEATHERMAN Okay. WHITE Lets do this. WHITE Alright. My name is Jason White. This is Ronnie Leatherman. JANEECE Hi. WHITE I'm sorry that you're having to deal with any of this. JANEECE Yeah, I just dont get it. WHITE Huh? JANEECE I just dont get... understand. WHITE Yeah, I, theres really never any real good explanation for any of these. But I think that youre going to be able to really shed some light for me, and help me out okay? WHITE Tell me what happened tonight. JANEECE Well it's just like any other night. We have a nightly routine with her. She has dinner like around 745 and then we lay her down. When it's time to lay her down we lay down together. JANEECE He was on the phone. JANEECE As soon as she fell asleep he hopped up, and he left the room. He went straight to the garage, and he had opened the garage door. I went to the bathroom to grab a cigarette and I was gonna go out there, cause that's what I do. JANEECE And um, and then I just heard, I heard this, these loud noises. I know what gun shots sound like. JANEECE I wanna say maybe nine gunshots. Like it's over and over and over, and then finally it registered. And I was like Kim's in trouble. JANEECE You know I dart for the door. And I opened the door, and he just started yelling get down, get down. JANEECE Basically, so, I hear the shots. And all I see Kim do is... just darts to the threshold of the garage door, and just over and over and over and over and over. JANEECE And then thats when I noticed blood and he was, and then he immediately turned around and looks at me, and he goes Call the ambulance. Call the ambulance. JANEECE Blood was coming out his mouth. And he's coming down the stairs. I went up and grabbed towels cause his mom met us up the stairs. I'm like Kim's been shot, Kim's been shot. JANEECE I went and grabbed towels, and I applied pressure. I put his head on my lap, and I just like kept hitting him as hard as I could every time he kept like closing his eyes. I told him like You're strong. You can, you can do this. You know, Youre dumb, you've done this before. JANEECE He just got shot three times in the stomach last year. LEATHERMAN When she's going to sleep, was he messing on his phone, while you guys were laying down there or something? JANEECE Um, yes. JANEECE He like, He's my friend Charles. And I'm like, I've never heard that name before. Who's Charles? JANEECE And I said, So what's going on? Whats the deal? JANEECE And he said, well Charles was supposed to bring him some roxies to sell. WHITE Tell me what the heck roxies are again. Remind me? JANEECE Uh, roxies like oxycontin, I guess? Roxies is one of the main things that he really sold. WHITE Did he happen to say if Charles was coming with anybody else? JANEECE No, he did not. JANEECE After he was shot, when Kim has his head in my lap, I kept asking him, cause I remembered the, the name Charles and I said What is Charles's last name? And he kept trying to say something, but I couldn't understand what it was... JANEECE I said Charles who? Charles who?, and all I heard was Charles Boraz... but now I know its Boaz. WHITE How did you know? JANEECE I messaged, um, a childhood friend of Kim's. They went to school together when they were kids. They all went to Central together. JANEECE Im trying to put it together in my head just because I am familiar with... you know, I had lived a very bad lifestyle before we got pregnant with her. And I changed my lifestyle around. And Kim did too for the most part. And I just think he just, you know. JANEECE Money gets tight. JANEECE Right after we had her Kim and I kind of like went from being really close friends to actually, we actually, you know, fell in love, like... WHITE Sure. Sure. JANEECE He had, before she turned a year old, gave me a promise ring, like we were on our way to, ya know, getting our own place and... WHITE Yeah. JANEECE ...doing our own thing. WHITE Well, right now, Im gonna to commend you for being extremely strong, for me. And thats helpful, okay? JANEECE Yeah. WHITE Im going to start talking to his mother. JANEECE Ok. WHITE Thank you. WHITE Shes legit. His girlfriend is trying to help. She said that Charles, this Charles, that, she doesnt know him. But he was supposed to show up over there. Right after this had happened, the victim starts telling her the name. She then communicates with one of his friends. WHITE He ends up giving her the name of Boaz, and thats consistent with the pill bottle out in the driveway. WHITE I mean that guys going to be involved. Thats a no brainer. So, were on the right path with him. But, I would like to get a little bit more. WHITE Shes being very strong. Its going to hit her like a ton of bricks before long. But, shes got to be strong for that kid right now. WHITE Ok. WHITE Were very sorry. WHITE What happened tonight? LESLIE So, I was downstairs and, um, watching Longmire. LESLIE And, uh, I just heard some rat-a-tat-tat things. Next thing I knew, they were coming in the front door and he was saying he'd been shot. WHITE Did you ever hear him say who shot him? LESLIE Uh-uh. No, not at all. WHITE Okay. LESLIE He was just in a lotta pain. WHITE Do you know anything about what he's been doing, or does he have a lotta people come over for various reasons? LESLIE No. WHITE No? Okay. Okay. LESLIE No. That is my house. LESLIE But, theres um... you know, there's a lot I don't know. LESLIE I don't know what my son's been involved in, but I um-- he promised me that he's not involved in anything, but I don't know if you're a parent or not, but...I mean he was shot not all that long ago. WHITE Yeah. LESLIE So, I mean, its not like, I think hes Mr. Innocent or anything but... WHITE Yeah. LESLIE Kim was doing fine working, every day. I mean, he couldn't wait to get to work in the morning, WHITE Yeah. WHITE You have a pretty good relationship with her though? LESLIE I mean, she stresses me out completely. WHITE Does she? LESLIE Extremely, but I love her. You know. LESLIE You know, they're there because she got pregnant with Khloe. That's what kinda started this saga. LESLIE She was homeless when I, I picked her up... WHITE Yeah. LESLIE ...and brought her to my house. WHITE She's got a long road ahead of her. But, you know, I'm sure you're gonna be able to help her. LESLIE Yeah. WHITE She's gonna be living at your house, temporarily, I'm sure, right? LESLIE Yeah, she'll be living there, cause my focus is of course is Khloe. LESLIE When can I see him? WHITE Well, you won't be able to see him at the Medical Examiner's Office. You can see him at the funeral home. I don't know WHITE I know. I, I know. I, I can't even, I can't even imagine what you're feeling right now. WHITE My, my goal is for justice to be served. If anything comes up, don't hesitate. WHITE Alright, Im sorry. LESLIE Ok. WHITE That's a cute grand-baby. LESLIE Yes, she is. She's a joy. WHITE Thank you for your patience. LESLIE Okay. Thank you. WHITE Theyre both good to go. Thank you. WHITE Kims mom, she absolutely in a state of shock right now. Her whole worlds getting turned upside down. LESLIE Heres your bunny. WHITE Seeing people going through this, if we werent affected by it a little bit, then we probably shouldnt be doing this job. SCHILLING Weve got the data from the phone. SCHILLING Heres where maybe the problem was. It was going to be a pill deal. WHITE Yeah, he was bringing him roxies to sell. SCHILLING And Kim had concern about whether they were real or not. Kim says Alright G, look bro, like I said I got a baby now so Im not playing no games. Im just a numbers guy. As long as our number stay straight, were gonna to eat, G. SCHILLING And whoever is coming to meet him says, What do you mean? Im confused. They real, no press. SCHILLING Let me know when youre pulling up, Im going to raise the garage door... WHITE Ok, what time is that? SCHILLING 1051 WHITE Yeah, thats the guy. SCHILLING 1052 pulling up. 1053.... Bet. And thats his last going message. WHITE Yeah, thats the guy. SCHILLING The number our victim was messaging back and forth with that was going to be delivering pills checks to a Charles Boaz. LEATHERMAN Heres a recent picture of Charles from when he was arrested last year. WHITE Heres the deal. We know that Charles Boaz was there. Thats a no brainer. His pill bottles in the freaking street. But, weve got to build this case up. I want to be able to make an arrest to this cat, you know. WHITE And theres another guy that was with them too. We have to watch that body cam. I want to see what that video shows. WHITE If that video shows the victim saying that name, I think from that, were good. LEATHERMAN Weve got the officers body camera video finally uploaded, so were going to look and see if our victim gives any more details about what happened. OFFICER Hey, its Tulsa Police Department. LESLIE Come here quick. Please, please. OFFICER Were coming, were coming. OFFICER Wheres he shot at? JANEECE Right here. OFFICER Hes got one in the chest and exit to the back. JANEECE Babe, babe. OFFICER Stay with us buddy. Keep thinking. Keep thinking. JANEECE And we know who the person is. OFFICER What is his name? Whats his name? KIM Charles Boaz. WHITE Its a really, really powerful piece of evidence. WHITE I think that would fall under the category of dying declaration. OFFICER Whats... hey what was the name again? KIM Charles Boaz. OFFICER Charles Boaz? LEATHERMAN With a dying declaration, the person whos dying, you have to talk to them and tell them Hey, theres a good chance youre going to die. Do you understand what Im saying? Yeah. I understand Im about to die. Heres who did it. And if you jump through those hoops, then that stuff can be used in court. LEATHERMAN Hopefully well be able to use this as a dying declaration. LEATHERMAN But, I dont think its going to be an issue as far as getting Charles Boaz arrested. Theres a pill bottle right where the shooting happened in our suspects name. The last person hes talking with is this Charles Boaz, so I think were plenty good to get him. WHITE Tomorrow morning well put everything together, and well submit it to the DA. And well get an arrest warrant. LEATHERMAN Theres still the question of the second person when the shooting happens. I mean, just because Charles was there doesnt necessarily mean hes the shooter. It could be this other guy that we dont know about. WHITE We just got the warrant signed for Charles Boaz. I notified our Fugitive Warrants Unit to start the hunt. WHITE Theres an address that I got in Jenks that Ill send you... LEATHERMAN Hes setting up on a truck that is linked to Boaz. WHITE The most important thing to me right now is to get Mr. Boaz in custody. And then well go from there. JANEECE Im coming. You want to go down the slide, dont you? Okay. Which one? JANEECE Kim was just a, he was an amazing person. He was...he was more... he was going to be more to mean and mean more to me than I had ever thought when I met him. JANEECE Id been living on the street since I was 16. And I was into hardcore drugs, and thats kinda like the scene he was in. I was in a really dark place when I met him. JANEECE Three months before I had her, I moved in. He was a phenomenal father. He didnt push back in anything regarding her. He was very understanding almost to a point to where it was annoying. But, I loved him for it. JANEECE I just know that he got really desperate. He was trying to figure out, you know, what can I do to make ends meet plus some. You know, and feel secure. And not feel like, Oh Im going to be at my moms house for the rest of my life. You know, like thats really hard on somebody. JANEECE I think he wanted to be a lot like his father. His dad was there for him. And when his dad passed away, it devastated him. CHAZ We come from a rough part of this city. We werent on the greatest paths in high school, neither one of us, especially after he lost his dad. JAMEEL Over the years he would talk about his dad, as of like, how he wants to be, you know, a better person for himself and his daughter, you know. CHAZ He had been in some trouble, had some things on his record. As we all know as people, in the system that were in, once you have a blemish, its becomes very, very hard to overcome that. JAMEEL He was working this job. And he was always talking about how he wanted to, you know, provide for his family, you know, have him his own spot. Just as a father would do. JAMEEL You try to do your best to take care of your family. And you know, we all make mistakes. He wasnt a perfect person, but he was still a good person, a good person. WHITE This morning, the Fugitive Warrants guys, they basically.... RADIO Im pulling in the parking lot now. WHITE ... been setting up surveillance on the potential house where Charles Boaz may have been staying. They set up surveillance at that location and apparently, they followed him on another location. They think theyve got him spotted Hes sitting in a car. And, thats where were at. Theyre maintaining surveillance at this moment. RADIO Its him. RADIO Ill circle around and park close to him. RADIO Were probably good. Well just let it play out. RADIO Yeah. RADIO Hes getting ready to get out. RADIO Lets do this. RADIO I can see his hands. RADIO Copy that. RADIO Jason, were 15. WHITE Hes in custody. WHITE Perfect. Whether hes the shooter or not, hes involved. So, you know, well see. WHITE This kid doesnt seem like somebody thats just a arch criminal type. WHITE And, I really want to know who the second guy is. And hes got to tell me that, or otherwise, I dont know how the heck Im going to find that out anytime soon. WHITE Id like to have an opportunity to speak to him. WHITE Hey man, Charles. Sit up for me. BOAZ I want a lawyer. WHITE Ok. WHITE Were going to get your fingerprints, and were going to get your DNA. WHITE Hes not going to be speaking to me. WARRANTS Did he get in a fight? WHITE Witness who lives next door saw some sort of a physical altercation. WARRANTS Because if you look, hes got his hands taped up. Band-aids... WHITE Perfect. Thank you. I need to photograph that. Man I love it. WHITE Hes going to have to be transported to Osage County. WARRANTS Whatd you do? Spelling something out for me? WARRANTS Alright, well go to the restroom real quick. WARRANTS Whats that say? I cant read it. WHITE He wrote innocent on the table. Ok. Well, the evidence isnt supporting that right now. WHITE Were going to head back over in the area where this homicide happened. Re-canvass a couple of houses where they may have some video. WHITE Hey, Im Detective White. We were going to take a look at your cameras, okay? NEIGHBOR Yes. WHITE How are you? I need to get that guys car on video. WHITE You got a ring doorbell camera. NEIGHBOR Yeah, yeah, we just put that in yesterday. WHITE Oh, ok. WHITE Oh, we didnt get lucky. Alright. WHITE Right now, Im still looking for the second guy in this. Once, I do find out who he is, maybe hell come around and tell me what happened. WHITE Were going to Pawhuska where were going to visit with Charles Boaz. His attorney reached out and indicated to us that he was willing to tell us the story. WHITE I think that hes starting to see that the case against him is incredibly strong. And he doesnt really have much of a choice but to try to have a little bit of self-preservation. WHITE My name's Jason White. Your attorney indicated to me that you wished to make a statement. Basically, just tell me what happened. BOAZ The dude, Kim, he sent somebody to me BOAZ that hustled me. WHITE How did you get played? BOAZ I gave him some pills, and he gave me an envelope with some napkins in it. WHITE And you left and then realized that he screwed you over. BOAZ Yeah. WHITE How much money are we talking about that his buddy ended up taking you for? BOAZ It was like six or seven hundred dollars. BOAZ So, I hit Kim up to tell me who the dude was BOAZ cause I was gonna beat him up for scamming me. BOAZ He didn't wanna give up his dude cause he didnt want to be in the middle of it. WHITE There's a lot of messages on his phone between the both of you about pills. So, you guys were discussing some sort of a transaction. Is that fair to say? BOAZ It wasnt a transaction. It was basically If you BOAZ call the dude over here and let me get my one-on-one with him BOAZ Ill let you have these pills. BOAZ I'm like Man, you set me up. BOAZ We've been knowing each other for a long time. Like, we rode tight. BOAZ Like, That's fucked up, Id never do you like that. BOAZ And then I punched him. BOAZ We started fighting. BOAZ I ended up slamming him on the ground. BOAZ And then, he had my arms locked in to where I couldn't move my arm. BOAZ Then, when that happened BOAZ my cousin had got out the car. BOAZ My cousin pulled me off of him. BOAZ When he pulled me off him, Kim got up and started reaching. BOAZ Like he had something. BOAZ Then I just heard shots go off. BOAZ I took off running. BOAZ I heard shots shooting back at us. BOAZ Me and my kinfolk got in the car and drove off. WHITE Who was your cousin, the kinfolk that came over there with you? WHITE I know it's not easy for you. BOAZ His name is Lawrence. WHITE Last name? BOAZ Mitchell. WHITE After this had happened, your cousin, was he worried? BOAZ I know he was worried because he know Im not that type of dude. WHITE Okay. BOAZ So, it was like some type of situation like, Damn, I hope I didnt fuck my big cousin up. WHITE Did you know that the guy died? BOAZ I didnt know that until two days later. BOAZ I didnt think nothing happened cause he was popping back. Know what I mean? WHITE Ok. Alright, well, very good. LEATHERMAN Thank you. WHITE I think hes minimizing some of his involvement. But, he identified his cousin as Lawrence Mitchell. WHITE Im going to pull up Lawrence Mitchell. WHITE Hes currently in custody. WHITE We are definitely going to make an attempt to try to talk to him. WHITE It took a little bit of time to get the warrant issued for him, you know, due to COVID and all this other stuff. Once that happened, we went down to the jail to go pick him up. WHITE I hope that Lawrence tells us whats up. WHITE You know I know your cousin. Ive spoke to him. I just want you to tell me what happened. MITCHELL Well, you know. MITCHELL I wouldve never even left out the room, out of my houseyou know what Im saying MITCHELL If he wouldnt have called me, Id have been at home. MITCHELL You know what Im saying, but family do for family. MITCHELL Even though he told or whatever. MITCHELL It is what it is. I still love him. WHITE Who is this calling you? MITCHELL Its my big cousin. MITCHELL His name is Charles Boaz. MITCHELL I had got a call like, Can you ride with me? Can you bring the pistol? MITCHELL Im like, For what? MITCHELL Hes like, I just need your help. MITCHELL So I got in the car with him. MITCHELL You know, went over there. MITCHELL Im in the car. Theres an altercation. WHITE Do you know the background of what that was all about? MITCHELL I just know it was over some pills. MITCHELL I guess he had owed him some money? WHITE Charles owed him money or vice versa? MITCHELL Vice versa. MITCHELL He took off on my cousin telling my cousin he wasnt paying him shit. MITCHELL Im sitting in the car, look back. MITCHELL Im like, OK, theyre just fighting. MITCHELL Theyre gonna be done. MITCHELL The fight went on for like seven minutes. WHITE Really? MITCHELL Get out the car. MITCHELL Damn, bro, yall need to break this s*** up. MITCHELL Thats when the neighbors get to coming outside and stuff. MITCHELL Thats when Im like, Bro, we got to get up outta here, bro. MITCHELL Ive got a pistol on me. MITCHELL Im not trying to get caught with this. Im already fighting a case. MITCHELL They get to trippin. MITCHELL He let him go. He up on me. MITCHELL Soon as he up, I drew down on him. MITCHELL Im like, Bro this what you want, bro? MITCHELL He like I mean, like shit. You threatening me saying you got a pistol. MITCHELL Im like, Bro, all right. MITCHELL He shot. I weaved it. I shot him. WHITE How many times did you shoot? MITCHELL I dont know. I know, like, at least four times. MITCHELL I already had mines out, MITCHELL Before he drew. MITCHELL And when he drew, he shot. Thats when I emptied. WHITE Did you ever talk to Charles after that? MITCHELL Yeah, he came to me the next day. MITCHELL He was like, I cant really deal with it. MITCHELL He was like Man, I feel bad, MITCHELL It shouldnt have went that way. MITCHELL He had came to it that they were really actually friends. MITCHELL I take full responsibility. MITCHELL My cousin got a whole family. MITCHELL I didnt have to talk to you, but Im just trying to get the heat off my cousin. WHITE I got a lot of respect for you for stepping up and doing the right thing. I wish you wouldve done in back in May, but I get it. MITCHELL To be honest with you, between me and you, you know I fell in love. MITCHELL I dont want her to know whats going on because I didnt want to put her in that situation. WHITE Of course. MITCHELL I was trying to bond out. MITCHELL And get married. Because I dont know what thats like. MITCHELL I really kinda... now I gotta to tell her whats really going on, for real. WHITE Appreciate it. MITCHELL I appreciate you being kind, sir. WHITE No, seriously man, I appreciate you. Thank you. MITCHELL If you talk to Charles, you tell him how much I love him. WHITE Count on it. Ill do that. Alright? WHITE Its kind of nice to hear the story. Bloods thicker than water and I think that hes wanting to do the right thing in the event that it may help his cousin out a little bit. So. And he admittedly... he admitted that it was kind of bad idea to do what he did. And it kinda.. by pulling that gun out, it kinda escalated it to another level. WHITE The victim, him, and the other defendant, Charles Boaz, you know, all three of them kinda let this get to a point where it shouldnt have. WHITE This case, its a sad story. This is one that certainly couldve been avoided. And, the real victim here is ultimately, its going to be that little girl that grows up without a father. MOM Heres with his dad. So sweet. These were just precious, precious times. I love this picture. Once Khloe came along it was all about their unit. I think it would have been a beautiful life. I really do. SHERRI Kim was always life of the party, great smile. Had great stories to tell. KATHRYN Kim was gentle and kind. He wouldve done anything. He had that kind of a heart. MAURICE What I miss most about him is... he would... he would pop up at the house like his dad used to. Kim would come over, and hed follow me all over the house. KIM You want to see something cool? Check this out. Look at this. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Thats some shrimp like Daddy used to make. Oh, yeah. MOM You know its so different losing someone in this way. To lose a younger person and for such a stupid reason, its just, uh, devastating. He wouldve really enjoyed life. MOM Is that daddy and baby Khloe? Thats daddy and Khloe when she was a teeny, weeny baby. JANEECE Forever shes always going to want to know the other half of her. And never get to know that. And never get to know how much he loved her. JANEECE I just dont want the way he went out to be the story thats left of who he was or who he is, because thats not the case. He was so much more than that. NARRATEUR For homicide detectives their chance of solving a murder is cut in half if they dont Get a lead within the first 48 hours.
